This Privacy Notice sets out how MAGA uses and protects any personal data that you provide it.

 MAGA, UK Industrial/Provident Registered company IP32123, is the controller for your personal data.

 

MAGA is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should we ask you to provide certain information by which you can be identified, then you can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this Privacy Notice.

We will not sell, distribute or lease your personal information to third parties unless we have your permission or we are required to do so by law

What data MAGA collects

 MAGA collects personal data provided by you, for example:

·         We may collect your name(s), address, email address(es) and phone number(s) when you apply for a plot or accept the tenancy for a plot at MAGA.

·         We may collect financial information such as payment information when you become a member.

·         We may collect images when we take photos at MAGA events, plot inspections and at other times.

 

 What MAGA does with the personal information

 We may use the personal information you have provided us with:

·         In ways you have consented to in order to fulfil a specific purpose (e.g. to allow you to join the waiting list for a vacant plot, or to be contacted with important information related to the management of MAGA and operation of the MAGA site)

·         To fulfil a contractual obligation to you (e.g. to allow us to administer the terms of a tenancy agreement including taking payments)

 

 Security

 We are committed to ensuring that your personal information is secure. In order to prevent unauthorised access or disclosure, we have put in place suitable physical, electronic and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect.

 

Access to Your Information

At any point you may contact MAGA to request a copy of the personal information that we hold. Please contact committee@maga.org.uk

 

Accuracy of Your Information

If you believe that any of your personal information that we hold is incorrect or incomplete, please let MAGA know. Please contact committee@maga.org.uk

 

Retention of Your Information

MAGA will not hold your personal information longer than is reasonably necessary to fulfil our obligations to you.

 

Erasure of Your Information

You have the ‘Right to be Forgotten’. If you would like us to delete your personal information that we hold, please contact committee@maga.org.uk

When we receive your request we will confirm whether the personal data has been deleted or the reason why it cannot be deleted (for example because we need it to fulfil a contractual obligation to you).

 

Consent

You have the right, at any time, to withdraw Consent that you have previously given us. Please let us know, in writing, if you wish to do this, and tell us what you are withdrawing Consent for.
